I’m at work all day and I want to get a security camera for my house. I don’t want to have to get an installer to come in and string wires all over the place so I’d prefer to use some kind of wireless security camera. I’d like to be able to log on from my computer at work and check on the house from time to time, too so I want an internet security camera system. I can handle the internet set-up and everything on the computer side once I get the equipment and software package, but I need some hardware recommendations. Which models have you used? Did you have any problems with your security camera? Any feedback on that?

I’ve been looking at installing a security camera for my store. I’m thinking that I need a wireless security camera that covers the interior and the parking area. I might even get an internet security camera so that I can even check in on the place from home when the store is closed at night. I’ve had some recent problems with vandalism and I’d like to catch the people doing it on tape so the police can deal with it. Ideally, the security camera would have a motion detector that sends me an email or instant message if it’s activated. That way I could not only record the video, but call the police and maybe catch these people in the act of spray-painting on my store. Is there a system with notification like this?

I need to invest in a security camera. I’ve been having problems with people breaking into my backyard to use my pool, and I don’t want to incur any liabilities if someone gets hurt. I’ve heard that a wireless security camera is good because you can position it wherever you want, and that might be good in my case because my pool is kind of far from my house. I’ve also heard good things about an internet security camera because you can monitor your property from wherever you are. Does anyone else have any recommendations for a security camera?
